I've never been a fan of plunging cleavage and boob hugging tops, but shoulder baring is a huge Yes! The off-the-shoulder look is the right combo of sweet and sexy, super easy to pull off and is age appropriate for pretty much everyone. Thanks to all the current renditions happening of this look, from sleek 90s iterations to major gowns to music festival-ready, the off-the-shoulder look is appropriate for all occasions.
The off-the-shoulder top I wore is the Local Heroes Top from Staple the Label. I love the extra fabric that drops down from the shoulders that makes it look extra flowy. I paired it with Ray-Ban sunnies and an Otis & Maclain skirt. The look was rescued from being completely monochrome by the black and white Givenchy shark sandals and the Alaia clutch.
With so many styles to pick from: streamlined, casual or ultra-feminine, as Jay-Z said, “go and dust your shoulders off”.
