Tops with dramatic oversized shoulders and puffy sleeves are this season’s new statement sleeve. While it’s not really a new trend, the new puff sleeved tops have a more Cinderella, less 80’s feel. No matter what your body shape is, this spring trend will flatter you. I have some tricks and ideas up my puffed sleeve on how to wear puff sleeves.
I wore my puffy Zara top (similar here) with Zara high-waisted relaxed wide leg jeans (similar here), since my shape is narrow in the lower half. If your body shape is more rectangular, opt for skinnies for balance, since the ruffles create more of a shape on the top half of your body, drawing attention to your upper frame. I accessorized my look with Altuzarra mules and a belt chain to add some edginess to the too feminine puffed sleeve blouse. The chain is from a company I recently discovered on instagram called LA Edge. I'm wearing their West Coast Dream Belt Chain, but they have other cute options, be sure to check them out!
